No society can achieve change and prosperity without involving its youth. For this reason, the Inter Region Economic Network (IREN), through its Business Units initiative, will host a ‘Youth Business Workshop’ for high school, college and campus graduates in Western Province of Kenya.
You are cordially invited for the 1st Youth Business Workshop at the Bukura Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) on Friday 19 December, 2008.
The one day workshop targets graduate youths willing and able to initiate businesses that would address problems in health, agriculture and education in the rural areas. Present in the workshop will be qualified trainers from Western province and the IREN Business Units team.
Participants will be accorded the necessary training and mentoring on several entrepreneurial techniques.
Please note that:
- Participants will not be charged any attendance fee
- There will be no transport reimbursements (or any other reimbursements).
- Accommodation will only be availed to selected participants and they shall be notified prior to the event.
- Meals and drinks will be provided during the event
- A certificate of participation will be awarded to successful participants
