German Chancellor Invites Shikwati for MDG Forum

The German Chancellor, Her Excellency Angela Merkel has invited James Shikwati to discuss Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Africa. He will be among a team of eight namely: Kofi Annan, Bill Gates, Robert Zoellick, Bono, Mo Ibrahim, and Ibrahim Mayaki, among other senior German officials that will meet the chancellor later this month.
 
Mr. Shikwati is the Founder Director of Inter Region Economic Network (IREN), a leading African think tank that promotes ideas and strategies geared towards improving the living standards in Africa. He is also the Founder CEO of The African Executive magazine
