I am an ICT journalist corresponding for an online news agency known as HIGHWAY AFRICA NEWS AGENCY. I have been receiving news alerts from The African Executive online publication and I must commend the content, style and timeliness of news and features. I particularly like the features on the latest political trends in the country.

Kenya's Opposition Must Adorn a Smart Survival Kit
This article was right on target. It gets to the heart of the matter. We must be primarily concerned about the effect that this election had on Kenyans. Let us learn from the past failures of power-sharing.

Sovereignty or Responsibility? : Kenya at Crossroads
Mr Kayumba a Ugandan living in Brussels talks big about Kenya's sovereignty, something he has no idea about. Someone needs to remind him that despite our differences, legitimacy can not be bestowed from outside. Martha Karua speaks for a number of Kenyans. Just because the International Community sides with the rest doesn't mean all citizens must accept it . Peace can only be achieved by worked out solutions not imposed solutions

Sovereignty or Responsibility? Kenya at Crossroads I I am surprised that the writer being a Ugandan knows very little about Kenya. For your information, the government did not start the violence. Several Kenyans voted for Kibaki and our sovereignty must be respected .Long live Martha Karua, we are behind you. The international community seems to be supporting the opposition. History reminds us that we taught other Africans about freedom movement of Mau Mau. We never give up and have a lot of determination. So may foreigners help build their countries and leave Kenya.

Chinese Development : Lessons for Africa
The article was richly researched and presented in a manner which makes application readily mandatory upon these governments that always look to the traditional West. The Wisdom from the East is hard to come by that only highly reflective analyst like Costa Hofisi will open our eyes. The emergence of China as a major power is felt as a threat even by some global powers because they are methodical and persistent to crush every barrier. I believe that the poverty miracle achieved in China and well illustrated in this article must serve as a blueprint for any country pursuing poverty alleviation programs -I mean countries that are earnestly pursuing such courses -not those pursuing such courses as debt waiver tools or to impress the IFIs. More grease to Hofisi's elbow!
