DR Congo: Africa Will Save Africa

It is a pity that [we] Africans have not realised that we cannot solve the problems that are bedeviling us today if we remain at the same level of thought. We need to change our perspective on issues, NO FOREIGNER IS GOING TO SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS. ONLY WE CAN DO IT! Look at the Asians, they did on their own. I keep reiterating that no single country in the world has ever developed as a result of receiving foreign aid.

Geofrey Gobanga.

Re: Nigerian Police Wanting

Ejike, thank you so much for your comment. Kindly send a copy to President Goodluck Johnathan. He should get on top of things before he is pushed out of power by a gang of bomb crazy people. 2012 Mr. President, should be a year of action. Diplomacy has failed. Please Sir, advice yourself and act swiftly. Thank God Nigeria is still at one piece into the Year 2012. What is the President doing about bombings? Is he waiting until his house is bombed? Declaring a State of Emergency is not enough. He definitely knows those who are causing the havoc. He should go after them and let peace prevail in Nigeria. The Nigeria Police must be given the necessary support to combat this menace. It is surely getting out of hand.

Lucia Quachey.
